I have been learning the names of things in our classroom in Te Reo Maori.

I have also been learning Tenei and Tena.

I have been learning to say my Pepeha with confidence.

Term 2 goal setting.

I have achieved all of  my goals for this term.  

I feel over the moon and proud of myself.

Recount Writing-At the Pools.

I am learning to add talking in my writing to make it more interesting for my readers.

At the pools 15/06/17

On Saturday morning me and my dad went to the pools. The pools are called Slater's Pools.

When we got to the pools I got on my togs. Dad got him some togs from the car.

First me and my dad went in the pool. The water was freezing. It was as cold as ice. I did some bombs.

Doing bombs was amazing. I did it again and again.

I said to my dad, “This is super amazing.”

After doing lots of bombs I felt hungry. I said to my dad, “Dad, I’m hungry.”

Dad said, “Can you wait for five minutes?”

I said, “OK Dad.”

So after five minutes Dad said, “Time to go!” I said, “Yay!” Me and my dad got changed and we went home to have lunch. What a cool morning I had with Dad at Slater’s Pools.

My Speech 2017

Here I am delivering my speech at the Tautoro School Junior Speech competition.

The judges were marking me on showing confidence, good pace

and volume, speaking clearly, audience connection, use of gestures and timing.

I came 1st for the Year 3's.
