We are learning about Plastic Pollution and how it causes problems for our world.
One way I can reduce the rubbish I put in the world
is by bringing a Litterless lunchbox to school.

Recount Writing-At the skatepark.

WALT use strategies to SPICE UP our writing.
On a lovely Sunday morning dad said, “Time to go to Rugby.” I went to the car as fast as a race car but… I remembered that I needed my mouth guard. I said, “Dad I forgot my mouth guard.” Dad said, “I got it.” I said, “Phew,” in a calm voice. When we got to rugby we found out that we were versing Okaihau. In the the middle of the game my mum’s dad showed up and said, “Get some tackles.” I saw my teammate getting pushed so we all went over and helped him. We were close to the try line and Cash scored the most tries. He kept going and going. The game was finished.
We got Teadahe and went in the car to his house to get his scooter. Then we went to the Skatepark. We were playing cops and robbers. Me and Teadahe were the robbers and someone was the cop but I did not know who he was. We were as fast as a race car. Then the other boy popped out of nowhere. I said, “Go faster, go faster.” We split and the cop was going for me. I was scared. My hands were shaking. Teadahe said, “Come over here. He can’t get us over here. So I went there off my scooter and got on the ramp thing. The boy said, “I'll give you 10 seconds to go on your scooter.” He was going for me again. Then he ran my scooter over. I stopped playing because I loved that scooter. I was as sad as the rain. Then he said, “Sorry.” I was happy again my face had a huge smile.
